Sales Team Leader - Contract

Position: Team Lead, Sales
Contract
Location: Mexico City, MEX

Who We Are:

Getaround is a pioneering connected carsharing platform that started in 2011 and now operates in over 1,000 cities across the United States and Europe.

We match convenient and affordable cars with people who need them through our peer-to-peer marketplace. Our innovative car technology allows users to book and access various vehicles directly through our app, eliminating the need to meet in person, carry access cards, wait in lines, or coordinate key pickups, unlike traditional rental services.

Getaround is dedicated to providing economic opportunities to local communities. Our network includes users who need cars for on-demand mobility and entrepreneurial hosts who rent out their cars through our platform, including those running their own carsharing businesses.

Cars are typically parked for 22 hours a day on average. By sharing cars, we reduce the number of vehicles on the road, leading to fewer accidents, decreased traffic, and less need for parking space. Carsharing modernizes mobility by integrating multiple efficient transportation methods for various use cases.

Our goal is to reduce greenhouse gases and pollution through carsharing. Studies indicate that carsharing leads to reduced driving and encourages the use of vehicles better suited to individual needs, potentially lowering household carbon emissions by up to 40%. Shared cars are used more often and retired faster, which accelerates the adoption of newer, more energy-efficient vehicles.

Our mission is to enable people to carshare everywhere and shift away from car ownership. Want to join us?
