Process Automation Expert / Product Manager
Description
As a Process Automation Specialist / Product Owner, you will be responsible for documenting, mapping, and automating our operational processes across various departments including Operations, Research, Commercial, Finance, and Tech. You will work closely with key stakeholders, building strong relationships to understand their needs and challenges, and develop comprehensive process documentation. Your role will involve maintaining this documentation, aiming for excellence, and ensuring seamless execution in collaboration with the Tech team.
Key Responsibilities:

Process Documentation and Mapping:

Interview key stakeholders across different departments to understand current processes and identify areas for automation.

Create detailed process documentation and visual process maps to provide clarity and direction for automation efforts.

Maintain and update process documentation regularly to reflect changes and improvements.

Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in Operations, Research, Commercial, Finance, and Tech departments.

Act as the main point of contact for process-related queries and updates, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.

Product Ownership:

Take ownership of the process automation project, from conception to implementation and beyond.

Work closely with the tech project manager to ensure timely and successful delivery of automation objectives.

Develop and manage a roadmap for process automation initiatives, setting clear priorities and milestones.

Continuous Improvement:

Monitor the effectiveness of automated processes and seek opportunities for further optimization.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in process automation and implement relevant improvements.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.

Requirements
Must Haves
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in process documentation, mapping, and automation within an eCommerce or similar environment.

Strong understanding of operational processes in sales, purchasing, commercial, finance, and tech functions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience in project management and product ownership, with a track record of delivering successful automation projects.

Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Clickup).

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Haves

Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.

Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, and eBay.

Knowledge of automation technologies and tools (e.g., RPA, AI, ML) is advantageous.
This is a Junior to Mid-Level position, working independently as an important connector between the Tech Team and the various business functions.
