Compensation Administrator

The Payroll Specialist will offer comprehensive payroll support for designated payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. They will ensure statutory compliance within their assigned countries and provide updates on legislative changes. They will ensure processing, payments, and reporting deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner. They will also support the Payroll Manager and Senior Payroll Manager in promoting and implementing process excellence and initiatives to attract, motivate, and retain talented and diverse employees.

This is a two-year fixed-term contract. Fully remote based - Poland.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Collection and verification of payroll data for multiple countries.
  • Processing payroll data according to prescribed schedules.
  • Collaborating with Payroll Providers and local HR Generalists to ensure local compliance and timely submission of all payroll/employment tax, government, and local filings.
  • Verifying payroll output and reviewing it with either the Payroll Manager or Senior Payroll Manager.
  • Ensuring that Net Pay payments are made on time.
  • Performing peer reviews and providing backup for Payroll team members.
  • Distributing pay slips and resolving queries.
  • Reconciling payrolls and preparing payroll journals for posting. Conducting routine and non-routine data retrieval, research, analysis, and reporting from payroll records as requested. Identifying and executing payroll process improvements.
  • Documenting and maintaining payroll procedures manual.
  • Providing monthly pension contribution schedules and payroll changes to Actuaries.
  • Preparing and submitting year-end reporting and other Pay as You Earn requirements.
  • Supporting Payroll Manager and Senior Payroll Manager with projects and business initiatives.
  • Working with the Payroll Manager and Senior Payroll Manager to implement internal processes and procedures to enhance payroll performance and ensure the effective use of installed technology.
  • Investigating tax/social security compliance issues as they arise.
  • Providing legislative updates on local taxation rules.
  • Engaging in various project work.
  • Continuously updating the Time and Attendance manual schedule to provide the most current and accurate information to the entire business.
  • Performing other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Relevant and equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Payroll or Accounting Qualification is desirable but not essential.

Experience (Minimum Required):

  • 3 years payroll experience
  • Numeracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel
